2018 Saw Significant Advancements for Apprentice and Its Products

It was an exciting year for Apprentice. We traveled to trade shows across the U.S., received awards for our innovations and were recognized by our state and local officials. We also welcomed talented new team members to the Apprentice family and made significant product advancements.

We were honored to lead panel discussions at the 2018 INTERPHEX trade show in New York City, and the San Diego-based VRX show. Apprentice CEO, Angelo Stracquatanio, spoke about cutting-edge AR solutions for pharma and manufacturing that are cost-effective and easily adopted. We appeared at other shows such as the New York VR Expo, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, Enterprise Wearable Technology Show and of course, the International Consumer Electronics Show.

Apprentice Recognized by the New Jersey Tech Council

This year came to an end on a great note, as Apprentice won the New Jersey Tech Council’s 2018 Most Outstanding Technology Award. Apprentice was recognized at the November gala for its groundbreaking augmented reality and artificial intelligence platform. We were honored to celebrate the evening with fellow tech leaders and innovators in the state.

The New Jersey Tech Council is a trade association that supports tech and related organizations throughout the region for their innovation. We have participated in several NJTC events over the last two years, but this year’s awards gala was especially special to our co-founders and team.

Apprentice has received great support from the NJTC, New Jersey Economic Development Association (NJEDA) and other agencies for our specialized work in pharma, biotech and manufacturing industries. We look forward to working with these organizations in the future as we grow, here in New Jersey.

On a local level, Apprentice was recognized by Tech Tribune as one of the top three best tech startups in the area. The Jersey City Mayor’s Office even thanked Apprentice for bringing tech talent to neighborhood.

We celebrated with Jersey City Mayor, Steven Fulop, during a formal ribbon cutting at the Apprentice HQ. Mayor Fulop recognized Apprentice for its significant contributions to the local community. Our CEO, Angelo Stracquatanio, explained the company’s origin story, its deep impact to pharma and why downtown Jersey City is the ideal location to start a business.

The Jersey City Mayor’s Office even got a behind-the-scenes look at our AR laboratory. They were thrilled to see that a successful local company was bringing high-end tech to New Jersey and its large life science industry. New Jersey’s Governor Murphy has been a strong advocate for the state’s growing tech community. Since taking office, he has signed legislation bolstering the N.J. innovation economy, as well as mandating computer science initiatives in education.

Apprentice looks forward to deepening its relationship within the local community and leading tech exploration. With local and state-wide support, it’s a great time for Apprentice and its groundbreaking augmented reality and artificial intelligence tech.
