Apprentice.io was founded with a mission to modernize pharmaceutical manufacturing—and we’ve spent over a decade delivering GMP-compliant solutions that meet the industry's highest standards. Today, we bring that same expertise to manufacturers across all sectors. Our modern, no-code platform supports both regulated and non-regulated environments, empowering teams to accelerate digital transformation, boost throughput, and lower operating costs. Together, our co-founders have established an international team of experts, a rapidly-expanding customer base, and a growing list of high-caliber partners all dedicated to fulfilling the vision of what a “digital Apprentice” can achieve.
January 2014
Apprentice co-founded by Angelo Stracquatanio, Gary Pignata and Alexandra Buttke
December 2017
First customers successfully used our web portal and wearable headset to connect remote colleagues to the manufacturing suite. Additionally, we raised a $2.5 million seed round.
December 2018
Raised an $8 million Series A round to meet the demands of a growing, global customer base and expand product capabilities.
March 2020
Customer demand exploded as our tech helped keep critical drug production going during COVID-19, leading to a $24 million Series B round
January 2022
Raised a $100 million Series C round and launched our vision for one unified manufacturing platform.
March 2023
Raised an additional $65 million in funding led by ICONIQ Growth, and launched the Connected Manufacturing Network.
September 2024
Launched GenAI capabilities to accelerate digital transformation in manufacturing
October 2024
